Below are various before and after photos of a red asphalt driveway with severe cracking and broken/potholed edges.
The large cracks were pre-filled with 7mm red asphalt/hotmix with 1% oxide fines, heated up with LPG flame and rolled until sealed.
Broken edges were filled with 7mm red asphalt/hotmix plus 1% oxide @ 30mm thick after bitumen tack emulsion was applied. A string-line was set up and straight edges used to ensure alignment and joining edges heated to seal flush.
The patchwork at first has a dark appearance but will lighten up over time.
