Peppermint Grove - crossover - patching - linemarking

Below are before and after photos of an entrance to a business premises on Stirling Highway.

Traffic entering the property had the problem of "bottoming out" on a high section of the crossover causing damage to vehicles and the crossover.

The high section of the crossover was cut out, excess roadbase removed with our Bobcat, the surface recompacted, waterbound and sealed with a bitumen tack emulsion and 25mm thick layer of 10mm granite black hotmix/asphalt.

Sand was sprinkled on the newly sealed section of crossover to allow for traffic use without scuffing once the surface had cooled down.

The carbays, directional arrows and lines were re-marked with road marking paint.
