Below are before and after photos of a section of an industrial yard in the Perth northern suburb of Malaga.
A section of the well worn yard was swept clean, edges cut back, potholes patched, repaired and tacked with a bitumen emulsion.
The area was resurfaced with a minimum 30mm thick layer of 10mm granite black hotmix/asphalt and compacted with vibrating rollers.
Before the work was completed the clients were accessing their premises over the resurfacing in progress.
The area was covered in sand to reduce the chance of scuff marks from vehicles and machinery while the surface was still warm.
Additional potholes throughout the remainder of the carpark were swept clean, tacked with a bitumen emulsion, patched and repaired with hotmix/asphalt - overlapping edges to ensure a good seal.
