Below are before photos of an old, worn and potholed driveway in the Perth foothills suburb of Hazelmere.
Below are photos of the completed repair work carried out on the driveway.
The potholes and subsidences were swept clean, tacked with a bitumen emulsion and filled with a compacted layer of 7mm granite black hotmix/asphalt.
The edges were overlapped to ensure a good seal.
Although not particularly aesthetically pleasing when first patched, the colour of the new asphalt will fade and blend in over time with the existing surface.
These repairs will extend the life of the driveway for many years.
