Before photos of a driveway and crossover potholed and worn which need resurfacing.
After photos once the driveway and crossover have been swept, trimmed back in places to tie in flush and resurfaced with a bitumen tack and 25mm thick layer of 7mm granite black hotmix.
Once completed and tidied up the surface was lightly sprinkled with sand to ensure no damage or scuff marks are left behind if any vehicles drive on the surface within the next couple of hours while it is still hot. The excess sand will blow away within a few days leaving a brand new driveway and crossover which will not need any further attention for decades to come.
A water diversion hump was formed along the front boundary between the brick piers to divert water run-off from the road along the verge instead of onto the driveway.
