Forrestfield - pothole patching

Below are before, during and after photos of pothole patching at a busy industrial yard in the Perth suburb of Forrestfield.


The potholes were swept clean, tacked with a bitumen emulsion and patched with 7mm granite black hotmix/asphalt.


The hotmix/asphalt was compacted with a vibrating pedestrian roller - overlapping the edges to ensure a good seal.


The patches were cooled down with water and covered with sand to allow for immediate traffic use.
